Today we celebrated my nephew's 7th birthday. He wanted a yoshi themed party. The cake is a french vanilla cake filled and iced with vanilla buttercream. The cupcakes are vanilla-pumpkin cupcakes iced in vanilla buttercream. I made the cupcake tower, cupcake wrappers and cupcake toppers. I am most proud of Yoshi! After making my fondant person it gave me the confidence to try a fondant yoshi. He was a challenge, but I'm so happy with how he came out, he's so cute! The kid's didn't even want to eat him because he was just too cute.
