Bowling Party!

This week I got to make party supplies for my own kids who turned 7.  I have boy/girl twins and each year it gets harder and harder to come up with a theme that isn't too girly or too boyish.  Luckily this year they wanted a bowling party, so that was easy!  I designed the invitation so it was half blue and half pink, and then I used that same design to make the cupcake toppers and favor boxes for the party.  The kids both loved the design, so everyone was happy!

These can be designed to fit just one child, or 2 boys, or 2 girls.

Thanks for stopping by!

It's never too early for Halloween!

I know it's the end of August, but it's time to start planning for Halloween!  I have always loved Halloween, now that I am a mom, I look forward to it even more!  The kids love planning out their costumes and thinking about Halloween Parties.

I designed a few Halloween Party invitations, and one Halloween Birthday invitation.  I also made quite a few favor tags, and some mini candy bar labels.

The favor tags are great for Halloween party favors, and they are also perfect for classroom treats to send into school for the kid's classmates.

If you have another idea in mind and don't see it in my shop, just contact me and I'll work with you to create the style you're looking for.

Happy Planning!!

Gender Reveal Parties

I love this new trend in baby showers!  Couples are having gender reveal parties as a way to share with friends and family the sex of thier upcoming arrival.  I love this idea!  It's a way to liven up the usual baby shower and makes it more fun than the gender neutral green and yellow showers.

There are so many things you can do with this theme.  The most popular thing to do is to have the cake tinted either pink or blue on the inside, so when you cut into the cake it reveals the gender.

I designed an invitation, cupcake toppers and some hershey kiss stickers in this theme.  I had so much fun with this theme.

Lollipop Invitations

I've been getting a lot of requests for Sweet Shoppe themed parties.  Parties that center around candy, cupcakes and all things sweet!  What is the best way to invite your guests to a Sweet Shoppe party? How about a Lollipop Invitation!  These invitations are such a cute way to set the theme of your party.  These are also great for Sweet Sixteen Parties.  These invitations are 4 1/2" and fit into a 5x7 envelope.

Hershey Kiss Stickers

A few months ago I had a customer ask me if I could make Hershey Kiss Labels.  I had never heard of them before.  She said it's just a small sticker that goes on the bottom of a Hershey Kiss. People use them as favors for weddings, birthdays, etc.  I did some research and they are very popular!  I made up a batch for her, and then posted them for sale in my Etsy shop.  Since then they have become my most popular item.  You can scatter them on tables, put into bags, or into a large decorated jar.  Here are some pictures of the ones I made.

Ready to Pop!

Have you heard about this new trend in baby showers?  These ready to pop tags have become so popular for baby shower favors.  Fill boxes or bags with caramel or buttered popcorn and decorate it with a ready to pop tag, they make the cutest favors!  I originally designed them in only pink, blue, and green but have since added more colors, due to different requests.  These can be customized to fit with any shower theme.

Twin Invitations

As a mother of twins I know that sometimes it can be hard to find party decorations that fit with my needs.  I wanted to draw up some designs for twins.  I had to start with a pumpkin, since my kids were born in October.  The image of a pumpkin and the color orange always brings me back to the delivery room, and the nurse handing me two little babies with orange pumpkin hats on.  Here are the designs I came up with.

New Designs

I haven't had a chance to blog in a while, as I've been getting my ETSY shop up and running.  I'm happy to say that I've made a lot of new designs and have a lot to offer now.  It's been hard learning the new software, but I finally feel like I'm getting comfortable and starting to know what I'm doing and feeling more and more confident with each new design.  I'll post a few samples, if you want to see more just visit my ETSY shop at http://www.sweetdesignsbyregan.etsy.com/

Valentine's Day Favor Tags

Here is a sample of a few favor tags that I designed for Valentine's Day.  These are perfect for classroom treats or playdate favors.  These are 2" circles, they can be hole punched and applied with a ribbon as is, or you can mount it to a 2 1/2" scalloped circle as well.  I can also make these into cards for classroom or playdate parties.

I was only going to design two or three, but they are so cute that I couldn't stop.  I stopped at five, but I have so many other ideas.

Going in a new direction...

After years of trying to make a business for myself in cake decorating, I have decided to go in a new direction.  I love decorating cakes but all of the regulations with the department of health has made it impossible for me to continue.  I am taking my love of designing cakes and turning that into a business of designing party supplies.  I'm attaching my first 3 designs that I've been working on.  These are only the invitations, I can create matching cupcake toppers, water bottle labels, thank you tags and anything else you need to create a custom party.  I hope you enjoy seeing all my new designs as I make this transition from cake decorating into graphic design.

Gingerbread Birthday Party!

This cake was made for a friend who's daughter was celebrating her 4th birthday.  The cake is an 8" chocolate fudge cake and a 6" french vanilla cake, both iced and filled with vanilla buttercream.  The cake is decorated with fondant, gumdrops, and candy canes.

The cupcakes are chocolate fudge, french vanilla, and oreo cookie, all iced in vanilla buttercream.

The cupcake wrappers are made out of textured cardstock.
